What is smarter than any smart phone, faster than Facebook, and more intriguing than the internet?

Your Intuition! Intuition is an inner knowing without weighing consequences and without controlling the outcome. Intuition is knowledge understood immediately without the need for conscious reasoning. This gut feeling is different than instinct as instinct is based on a fixed or expected response based on stimuli. Intuition is different than decision making as pros and cons or conscious reasoning of the probable outcome is considered.

Your intuition is based upon a universal truth of divine wisdom; however, to access your intuition, you must demonstrate trust and surrender. To access this infinite natural resource, you must be willing to not control the outcome which takes a lot of courage. The words trust and surrender are powerful alone, but to put this in practice means going against what society teaches us and what our brain craves.

Understandably, our brain craves control as it’s used to knowing best. However, it’s when the mind or brain is quieted such that it controls the more autonomic bodily functions such as breathing, heart rate, and digestion, that we are then open to receiving messages from divine wisdom, or universal energy.

Acknowledging and acting upon what is required to stand in one’s own truth and to trust and surrender is an evolving process.

This divine wisdom or universal energy is realized as our intuition surfaces and can get our attention. Those who subscribe to a higher power may resonate with the term divine wisdom. For those who believe in something greater than themselves, a more scientific term of universal energy may resonate. Either way, the point is the same.

Acknowledging and acting upon what is required to stand in one’s own truth and to trust and surrender is an evolving process. When you naively may think that you do realize what and how much is involved, another situation is presented challenging what your understanding had been.

Nevertheless, along this evolving process are immeasurable rewards for you and for others with whom you interact. There is more peace, unconditional love, compassion, and respect for where each person is in his/her journey. There is greater simplicity and clarity to be applied personally and professionally as may be applicable.
